Speak softly and carry a fabulous pen.

The quality and tone of your content affects everything, from sales to branding to how you feel about your company.

The founder, Pam Cash, has been writing ever since she could pull up her own knee breeches. After years of fashion, agency and freelance experience, she's thrilled to make your beautiful stuff even beautifuller (we promise not to make up any more words).

A Quill Pen is a tiny copywriting agency with a big heart. We love working with emerging designers, independent retailers, and passion projects as much as we love meeting deadlines for our favorite established clients like E!, ABC, CBS and agencies on the East and West coasts. After all, there's nothing we love more than helping people create and grow something that fits their unique vision.

We don't just work for money and we know you don't either. We truly love what we do. This means we maintain perfect integrity. We communicate with clarity and honesty, providing fair quotes and fast turnaround. We provide as many edits as needed until you're completely satisfied. The bottom line? We stand behind everything we do.

Current

We pride ourselves on copy that nails a sharp, contemporary tone. We're not into cheesy fads, but we pay attention to the world around us. Our writers are engaged with society as it is today.

We're unafraid to be fashionably bold.

Witty

We love to make our reader feel "in" on the joke. Think Oscar Wilde, not Adam Sandler.

We love women with heaving brains.

Intelligent

There are so many agencies out there that nail trendy "clickbait" headlines. Many people come to us for the opposite point of view. "Clickbait" fatigue is growing, so we build consumer loyalty by respecting their intelligence. You can call us snobs. We won't be offended.

Thank you . . . you’re the best online editor we’ve ever had.

Beautiful... Just what we needed.

All items in gallery were made in collaboration with designers, coders and creative directors. The purpose is to show a range of copywriting skills and experience only. If you'd  like more information about a particular designer or agency, I'm always happy to pass along referrals! We're not allowed to share some of our best stuff because it's top-secret, plus it makes us feel like cool super-spies, so please contact us if you want to ask about a specific kind of project.

Each photo is a genuine expression of love.
— Jacky Mitrius

We all know that emotion is crucial to communicating the vision of a business to the consumer. I can look at each item of clothing I've purchased and recall the emotional factor that drove me to purchase it. Did I want to be beautiful, cool, or too cool to be beautiful? I can look at each food and beverage purchase I've made today and recall how each one  made me feel. My coffee made me feel indulgent and sophisticated, while my donut reminded me of the way my father would treat me on Sunday mornings as we ate together and laughed.

The warmth of family memories are powerful, and Jacky wanted help communicating what motivated her to become a photographer. Her original "About Me" page lacked personality and a way to connect to her clients in a way that was touching and personal. With her help, I was able to create a new about page that really captures Jacky's motivations and her unique point of view as a business owner.
